A company is looking for a PFS Collection Specialist responsible for collecting commercial, government, and patient balances. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor outstanding account balances and follow up on claims and denials Generate paperwork for insurance claims and collection letters while investigating denied claims Provide customer service on collection issues and assist patients with payment plansRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required Computer proficiency and experience in windows-based technologies Prior work experience in a medical office setting preferred Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Must work effectively as part of a team and adhere to deadlines
