It emphasizes personalized rural community health care.JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSERegistered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned patients. Registered nurses provide nursing services to assure resident safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well –being of each resident, as determined by resident assessment and implementing plan of care.ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1.Utilize nursing process which includes patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning of nursing care, implementing interventions, and evaluation of patient status in relationship to above2.Executes regimen prescribed by physician within guidelines of nursing practice3.Performs and/or supervises activities/functions which require knowledge and skill level currently ascribed to the licensed practical nurse and seeks assistance when these are beyond scope of preparation4.Provides leadership and direction in the supervision of others in carrying out the nursing process5.Utilize nursing process which includes patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning of nursing care, implementing interventions6.Executes regimen prescribed by physician within guidelines of nursing practice7.Performs and/or supervises activities/functions which require knowledge and skill level currently ascribed to the registered nurse and seeks assistance when these are beyond scope of preparation8.Provides leadership and direction in the supervision of others in carrying out the nursing processMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSRequired Licensure and Certifications Current RN license in State of Iowa, Current basic Life Support for Healthcare providers from American heart Association Dependent Adult Mandatory reporter training 30 days upon hire and recertification every 5 years.
