Senior UX Designer (SaaS Platform)Position Type: PermanentWork Environment: Jensen Beach, FloridaSalary: $90,000 – $110,000 + Benefits / BonusPosition OverviewWe’re hiring a Senior UX Designer to help shape the end-to-end experience across a complex, multi-product SaaS platform focused on energy and distributed systems.This is a high-ownership role within a small UX team where you’ll lead UX initiatives from discovery through delivery. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to design intuitive, scalable experiences for technical users operating in complex environments.This role is best suited for someone who thrives in lean teams, takes initiative, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity while driving meaningful product impact.What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)You will:Own UX across multiple products, ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability across the platformTranslate complex technical requirements into intuitive, user-centered workflows and interfacesPlan and conduct user research (interviews, discovery, workflow analysis) to deeply understand user behavior and pain pointsDevelop user journeys, task flows, interaction models, and information architectureDesign clear, efficient, and accessible interfaces for both technical and non-technical usersRun usability testing and validation, iterating designs based on feedback and dataWork cross-functionally with Product Managers and Engineering leads to deliver high-impact solutionsMeasure UX improvements using metrics such as adoption, activation, and user satisfactionContribute to and evolve UX standards, patterns, and design systemsBasic Requirements (Must Have)5+ years of UX or Product Design experience, ideally within SaaS or complex software environmentsProven experience owning end-to-end UX across multi-product or highly complex systemsStrong ability to operate independently and drive work forward in a lean team environmentExperience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable design decisionsStrong understanding of user-centered design principles and modern SaaS UX patterns (dashboards, workflows, onboarding, permissions)Proficiency with design tools, particularly FigmaPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Experience designing for technical or enterprise users (e.g., engineering, energy, industrial software)Familiarity working alongside engineering teams using modern tech stacks (e.g., APIs, TypeScript, cloud-based systems)Experience contributing to design systems and reusable component librariesExposure to usability analytics, product metrics, or data-informed design practicesThe ChallengesDesigning for highly technical workflows where complexity cannot be removed—only simplifiedBalancing user needs with real-world system constraints and engineering limitationsMaintaining UX consistency across a growing suite of interconnected productsOperating in a lean team where ownership is high and resources are limitedYour ImpactYou will play a key role in shaping how users interact with a sophisticated software platform.
