Maintenance Mechanic
Overview
As a Maintenance mechanic, your main responsibility is to ensure that the production facility machinery and equipment meet or exceed production requirements while conforming to TPM, PMs, and regulatory requirements. You will be spending 80% or more of your time on the production floor.
Your key responsibilities will include prioritizing maintenance on resources needed, participating in best practice circles and ensuring their implementation, performing PMs on equipment, praticipating in root cause analysis, working with procurement to order spare parts, helping to set up spare parts min/max, and being accountable for equipment maintenance and maintenance downtime.
Your success in this role will be measured by several metric categories, including safety, quality, and delivery. To excel in this role, you will need to have a strong basis on electrical systems as well as mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed. You should also be comfortable working in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with other members of the maintenance team, production staff, and management.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
· Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments.
· Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
· Preventive Maintenance: Follow preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
· Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
· Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in equipment and controls to minimize downtime, including repairing hydraulics, replacing electrical circuits, or recalibrating electrical components.
· Testing and Calibration: Test the performance of electromechanical assemblies using appropriate testing instruments.
· Reading Prints: Read prints/schematics to determine how equipment should function.
· Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machine performance.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
