Strategic Account Manager – East

Job Description: Maintain and grow customer accounts optimizing revenue opportunities: 75%Act as a trusted business partner, build meaningful value-add relationshipsBuild successful relationships with senior level clients and decision makersEnsure tactical and flawless implementation of programsPoint of client contact for problem solvingDevelop and cultivate new business opportunities with the clientEngage with decision makersLead with client solutions, understanding their end goal, provide integrated product solutionsUsing data, research and insights to maintain and grow revenue opportunitiesUnderstanding of how Customers' consumer marketing, advertising and trade/sales dollars are being spentSell product mix (integrated solutions) as appropriate to ensure successful campaignsResearch, tailor and teach commercial insights to clientsNegotiate contracts; engaging internal resources as neededExceed revenue goals and be proactive in driving revenue 10%Create a compelling story/vision for the customer challenging their marketing strategyAcquire and sell to close accounts with varying complexity levelsProvide accurate and timely reports and forecasting as required by the Company. 15%Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferably in the fields of Business, Marketing, or Communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of successful (proven) outside sales and/or account management experience5+ years experience in developing and maintaining successful client relationshipsMedia experience is highly preferredUse of data and insights as a solution selling tool.Ability to determine and resolve issues and implications.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to manage multiple clients while seeking organic growth opportunities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with aptitude to learn systemBenefits: medical, dental, and vision coveragepaid time offdisability insurance401(k) with company matchlife insuranceother voluntary supplemental insurance coveragesparental leaveadoption assistancetuition assistanceemployer/partner discounts
