Travel Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - Bellevue, NE

Experienced ICU RNs are needed for a dynamic medical-surgical ICU unit on a 13-week contract, supporting a busy hospital system. Enjoy working in a collaborative environment alongside attendings, fellows, and residents, providing care to a diverse adult and adolescent (>15 years old) patient population with various critical and surgical conditions.Schedule:12-hour shifts (guaranteed 36 hours per week)Day (0630-1830) and Night (1830-0630) shifts availableEvery other weekend requiredHoliday coverage: 2 of 3 major holidays or as designatedQualifications:Active RN licenseMinimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (required)BLS, ACLS, AND NIHSS certificationsDriver's license required at submission for distance verification (must be outside 50-mile radius)Cannot be employed in any capacity by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilitiesWillingness to comply with strict fingernail/no artificial nail policyPass an open-book, skills-based exam (90% required during orientation)Responsibilities:Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult and adolescent patients in a 34-bed ICUInterpret and monitor EKG/telemetry (Draeger system)Titrate drips (vasopressors, narcotics, paralytics, etc.)Manage respiratory and invasive monitoring equipment (vents, A-lines, CVPs, EV-1000, etc.)Collaborate with nursing assistants, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teamsFlexibly float to all inpatient units as needed (excluding Maternity/NICU)Attend required training and unit-specific orientationAdditional Details:Navy blue scrubs required2 shifts of unit-specific orientation providedTeam-focused unit with opportunity to learn advanced neuro, cardiac, and surgical care (real-time training provided)RTO (up to 7 days per contract) must be requested up front
