Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical | Newnan, GALocation: Newnan, GAContract Length: 12 weeksStart Date: January 26, 2026Shift: Day shift | 3×12 hours (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)Unit: Med Surg 5/6APay range- $42-$45Role DescriptionProvide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patientsCare for a variety of diagnoses including stroke, COPD, AKI, chest pain, diabetes, COVID-19, pneumonia, and general Med/SurgWork in a fast-paced acute care hospital environmentCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including RT, PT, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, and rapid response teamsRequirementsMinimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experienceBLS and NIHSS certifications requiredEpic charting experience preferredFirst-time travelers acceptedUnit & Scheduling DetailsPatient ratio: 1:6 (days, nights, weekends)Self-schedulingEvery other weekend requiredFloating within facility as neededNo on-call requirementQualificationsPhysical Therapy, Patient Care, and Rehabilitation skillsExperience in providing Quality Patient Care and working in OrthopedicsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionalsCertified Physical Therapist Assistantz` (PTA) licensurePrevious experience in a clinical or hospital setting is a plus
