Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chicago, IL, for a Gastroenterologist. The Gastroenterologist will diagnose and treat disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, managing conditions related to hepatology, and interpreting results from various diagnostic tools such as capsule endoscopy. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and contribute to the overall well-being of patients in an engaging, community-focused environment. Qualifications Proficiency in Gastroenterology, including the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system disorders.Skills in performing Endoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy procedures.Expertise in Hepatology for managing liver-specific conditions.Strong foundation in general Medicine applicable to patient care and treatment planning.Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology is required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative work with healthcare teams.Commitment to high-quality patient care and community health improvement.Medical license to practice in the state of Illinois or eligibility to obtain one.
