MRO Inventory ManagerWe've partnered with a leading energy organization to find their next MRO Inventory Manager – Northwest Indiana. This MRO Inventory Manager will own the full lifecycle of maintenance, repair & operations inventory — from stocking strategies and critical spares to vendor coordination and storeroom operations. This isn't a desk job. If you're most comfortable in out in the field, in a storeroom, on a plant floor, and knee-deep in parts data — please keep reading.What you'll be doing:Setting min/max levels, safety stock, and reorder points for critical sparesWorking alongside maintenance planners and reliability engineers to stay ahead of demandSupporting shutdowns and turnarounds with advanced kitting and materials readinessKeeping CMMS/ERP data clean and actionable (SAP, Maximo, etc.)Driving storeroom organization, cycle counts, and inventory accuracyIdentifying slow-moving/obsolete stock and building rationalization plans What we're looking for:4 + years in MRO inventory, maintenance planning, or industrial warehousingStrong CMMS/ERP experienceReal understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance practicesComfortable in a heavy industrial environment — this site involves wearing PPE, and outdoor exposure. It's not glamorous, and that's okay.Proactive mindset — lead times here run 3–4 months, so reactive ordering isn't an option Bonus points for:Background in manufacturing, chemical processing, or heavy industryCPM, CPIM, CSCP, or CMRP certificationExperience with VMI, Kanban, 5S, or reliability-centered maintenanceBachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field preferred — or equivalent hands-on experience.If you know MRO and you're not afraid to get your hands dirty (literally), would love to hear from you.Additional Information:Target Salary range: $120,000 - $135, 000 + Bonus opportunity50% Regional travel required, some overnights.LI-SB1
