Re-sellable items are used to support our mission of helping people with disabilities and our nation's veterans to go to work. The Operations Supervisor manages the day to day operations of the ADC (Attendant Donation Center) program. The Operations Supervisor makes sure the Goodwill donors receive excellent customer service and all incoming donations are sorted correctly.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION: High School Diploma, some college preferred.EXPERIENCE: Prior supervisory experience or equivalent training.KNOWLEDGE: Organizational and customer service skills preferred. Also, computer skills to include the ability to use software, hardware, and digital tools to perform tasks efficiently.TRANSPORTATION: Reliable transportation required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Supervises and coordinates activities of employees concerned with transporting, receiving, sorting and stacking donations into proper containers or trailersAdvises employees on care and preservation of items received, shipped and storedInterviews and hires ADC employeesCompletes ADC daily scheduleCoordinates security provisions as neededAssist in locating ADC sitesHandle all personnel needs for employeesMaintain travel expenses at budget levelServe as liaison between store managers and ADC employeesMaintain layout and special handling of product guidelines for all store and free-standing sitesTravel to ADC sites to ensure proper coverage and handling of donated materialAssure proper loading and unloading of donated product to designated areasAnalyze and resolve work and material flow issuesSchedule new hire needs with Human ResourcesUpdate training manuals as neededComplete weekly reportsMaintain and achieve department budget and expense goalsOther duties as assignedPERIODICAL DUTIES:Attend Safety and department meetingsWork special events and promotionsBack up Dock SupervisorWork occasional overtime, weekend and holidayWORKING CONDITIONS:Working in office and donation sites (warehouse settings)Prolonged standing, repetitive walking, sitting, and driving to donation sitesLifting/pushing/pulling 50+ lbsWe offer competitive pay and benefits including:Medical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term DisabilityPaid Vacation and SickPaid Holidays403(b) with company matchEmployee Assistance ProgramThis is the ideal job for those individuals seeking life enrichment opportunitiesIf you're looking for a rewarding, fulfilling experience, please join our team!!Please complete application and attach resume with detailed work experience.
