This person will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations, including cleaning of grounds, work orders and turning of units. This person will support our property in McCloud, CA and may occasionally need to travel to assist other properties within the portfolio. We are looking for a skilled maintenance person that has good customer service, is pro-active, has a great attitude and can work in a fast-paced environment.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience2 or more years in a maintenance role, required . Additional technical training certifications are a plus.Compensation :Pay range is $22-24/hr. An exempt 2-bedroom apartment unit is included with signature of on-site agreement.Starting pay is based on experience.ResponsibilitiesPerform work order repairsPerform make ready duties for vacant units, including painting and repairsCoordinate with vendors, community manager and other maintenance staffUpkeep of common area grounds and offices on daily basisCleaning of laundry rooms, mailbox areas and ensure trash enclosures are clean and hazard freeDeliver resident notices as requested by ManagerWalk the property and promptly report any violations or work needed to the Property ManagerPerform additional duties as requiredAbilities:Ability to handle various maintenance dutiesComprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writingExperience with plumbing, appliance repair and painting preferredAbility to push/pull objects weighing more than 100 lbs. and lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 lbs., but not less than 100 lbs.Interpret and understand maintenance work order information generated from software.Effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractorsBasic computer and problem-solving skills requiredBe Available for After Hours On-Call Emergencies as neededAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and stay organizedDriving is required and a valid Driver's license and reliable transportation is required.Schedule Options :Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceLicense/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Work Location : In personArrowhead Housing is committed to providing safe, quality housing with outstanding resident service.
