Wide Format Layout, Prepress & Customer Service Specialist

We are a small, family-owned print and sign shop with a team of six. Our work includes wide format printing (signs, banners, vehicle graphics, etc.) as well as small format digital printing (business cards, postcards, brochures, books, etc). We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person who enjoys a mix of customer service, design, and production prep. Responsibilities Greet customers in person and assist with walk-in orders Answer phone calls and communicate professionally with customers Send and respond to emails Create and send email proofs for customer approval Gather and organize customer information for wide format projects Measure vehicles, walls, windows, or installation spaces as needed Assist with layout and design of wide format projects Prepare wide format files for printing (prepress, sizing, basic file setup) Coordinate with production staff to ensure jobs are accurate and ready to print Qualifications Must be able to accurately read a ruler and work with measurements Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign Ability to set up print-ready files (scaling, bleeds, resolution, sizing) Strong attention to detail and organization Comfortable working directly with customers in person, by phone, and via email Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced shop environment Experience with Onyx RIP software is helpful but not required Prior print, sign, or graphics experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience Consistent daytime schedule (no nights or weekends) Paid holidays Two (2) weeks paid vacation to start Additional PTO accrued after one year Small team environment where your role matters and your work is visible If you enjoy working with customers, like seeing projects go from concept to finished product, and want to be part of a steady, close-knit shop, we’d love to hear from you.
