Job SummaryFlexForce Pros are seeking a dedicated Onsite Safety Technician | Safety Specialist to support construction and substation projects in the Lockport, LA area for a 6-9 month or longer project. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies, conducting audits, and working closely with field teams.Job DutiesMonitor job sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesConduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessmentsLead and participate in safety meetings and toolbox talksIdentify hazards and implement corrective actionsWork closely with supervisors, contractors, and crews to promote a strong safety cultureEnsure compliance with OSHA and client safety requirementsMaintain accurate safety documentation and reportsMinimum RequirementsEducationHigh School Education or GEDKnowledge & SkillsPrevious experience in construction or industrial safety requiredKnowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulationsStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, outdoor job site environmentReliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites as neededPreferredOSHA 30 Certification (or higher)Experience with substation or utility projectsFirst Aid/CPR CertificationPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periodsAbility to lift 10 pounds regularly without assistanceGood manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationComfortable working in an outdoor job site environment with varying temperatures and noise levelsWork AuthorizationMust be authorized to work in the United States.Equal Opportunity EmployerFlexForce Pros is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
