Join our winning team and apply today.ResponsibilitiesOversee the parts sales process from start to finishCommunicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional mannerConverse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts statusRead and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific partsAnswer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customersReview body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimateProvide high-level service to both internal and external customersPull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stockNotify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attentionLocate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessaryMake sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orderReceive payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorizationProvide customers (both internal and external) requested parts and accessories in a timely manner.In addition to specifying the correctly needed items, the Parts Counter-person is responsible to solicit additional salesCharges out merchandise using the Dealer Management System, follow-up on special orders, tag, store and process warranty parts, assist in conducting inventory cycle counts and keep inventory area, parts counter and retail area/displays clean and orderly.Job Type: Full-timeBase Pay plus Commission and Bonus - Annual Average 60,000.00 - 70,000.00Schedule :8 - 10 hour shiftWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalentWork Location: One locationBenefits:Competitive PayMedical Insurance401k PlanLife InsurancePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysEmployee DiscountsPaid TrainingEducational AssistanceOpportunities for GrowthQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent2 Years experience in Parts Counter Sales, Preferred 2 years Ford Parts.Eager to improve in a dynamic work environmentStrong interpersonal and time management skillsAbility to read/interpret safety and maintenance documentsAbility to calculate figures/amounts including; discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, %, area, circumference, and volumeValid US driver's license and have been licensed for the past 3 years.Within the last five years, no driving under the influence or driving while impairedWithin the last three years no more than two moving violations or at fault accidents.About Us: The Hutchinson Automotive Group is a family owned and operated group of dealerships serving Macon, Forsyth, Warner Robbins and Albany, Georgia for over 20 years.
