Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for Teachers at Milwaukee Public Schools, located in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves developing lesson plans, delivering engaging and inclusive instruction, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment to support student success. Teachers will foster collaboration with families, colleagues, and the community to ensure a meaningful educational experience. Additional responsibilities include ongoing professional development, co-curricular participation, and adherence to district and state standards. Qualifications Experience in Lesson Planning and designing instructional materialsProficiency in Education principles and expertise in Teaching practicesStrong Communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and colleaguesExperience in Training and mentoring students in educational and extracurricular activitiesAbility to create an inclusive and supportive learning environmentKnowledge of instructional standards and best practices in teachingDegree in Education or a related field; appropriate teaching certification requiredExperience working with diverse student populations and promoting equity and inclusion is a plus
