Job Title: Power Platform DeveloperJob Type: ContractLocation: Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC – Duration: Through August 12, 2027Interview: Webcam or In-PersonPosition OverviewThis is a development-focused position, not a Power Platform administration role. The developer will build scalable applications, automate business processes, troubleshoot integrations, and support the deployment and lifecycle management of Power Platform solutions across development and production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.Develop both Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps based on business requirements.Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate.Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise services.Develop integrations with external APIs, databases, and third-party systems using custom connectors and advanced automation techniques.Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, integration, and performance issues.Perform application maintenance, enhancements, configuration, and routine updates.Deploy Power Platform solutions across development, test, and production environments.Follow Power Platform governance, security, environment management, ALM, and deployment best practices.Work with Azure DevOps to support source control, deployment, work tracking, and application lifecycle management.Collaborate with technical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure successful integration and delivery.Meet with customers and business users to gather requirements, answer technical questions, and validate delivered solutions.Communicate project progress, technical findings, issues, risks, and blockers to management and project teams.Maintain accurate technical documentation for application changes, fixes, enhancements, workflows, and integrations.Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex workflow and integration problems.Required SkillsHands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.Strong experience with Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.Strong experience designing Power Automate flows and workflows.Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint and Microsoft 365.Experience with Microsoft Teams integrations.Experience working with REST APIs, external systems, databases, and custom connectors.Knowledge of Power Platform environments, governance, security, ALM, and deployment strategies.Experience deploying solutions between development and production environments.Experience with Azure DevOps.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Strong communication and documentation skills.Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Power Platform certifications, particularly PL-900.Experience supporting enterprise-scale Power Platform implementations.Experience with Power Platform solution packaging and deployment.Experience working with enterprise application integrations and third-party systems.Important Candidate Requirement
