Manufacturing Electrical Technician — Water Purification Systems
Ready to power cleaner water?Veolia’s Water Technology Business is growing fast, and we’re looking for a Manufacturing Electrical Technician to support production of advanced water filtration products. If you’re a licensed MN journeyman who thrives in industrial environments, reads schematics like a second language, and cares about safety and uptime, this role is for you.Do these sound like you?Do you naturally follow OSHA and company EHS policies, keep work areas orderly, and participate in EHS meetings, investigations, and audits?Can you troubleshoot commercial/industrial electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry with confidence?Do you enjoy translating blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams into action?Are you current on the 2023 NEC (or the edition adopted by MN)?Do you excel with electrical tools and test equipment?What you’ll doExecute preventive and corrective maintenance using job plans, diagrams/schematics, manufacturer recommendations, and engineering specifications.Propose and implement reliability improvements that cut downtime and boost throughput.Write thorough CMMS notes so teammates have clear, actionable history.Partner with manufacturing teams and deliver exceptional internal customer service.Offer fresh ideas and positive energy to continuously improve processes.Capture engineering designs and technical data accurately to maintain a dependable technical/historical record for future reference and to meet customer/end user needs.Must-havesLicensed journeyman electrician (MN) with ongoing CE to maintain licensure.2+ years in plant manufacturing or supply chain.Willing to work overtime as needed; may be on call during the week or weekends.Comfort with PPE, heights, confined spaces, and outdoor work.Ability to perform frequent lifting and bending; solid manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.Root-cause thinker with strong problem-solving skills.Organized, team-oriented, and an effective communicator (oral and written).CMMS user (Maximo) for unscheduled, scheduled, and completed work.Nice-to-have5 years in plant manufacturing or supply chain.Experience with water filtration products.Hands-on with control recipes, control logic and alarming, and HMI graphic development/installation.Experience building or sourcing parts/equipment for new and existing unit operations.Where you’ll workOffice, Hybrid, or remote work environment at manager’s discretion.Pay transparencyHourly range: $33–$48 USD.
