SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: As a Production Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and stability of our Clean-and-Screen (CnS) production for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) devices. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve any issues that arise in the production environment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and maintain the availability, performance, and reliability of CnS test stations. Respond promptly to production issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations. Troubleshoot and debug complex problems across various layers of the technology stack, including tester hardware, test software, and network infrastructure. Conduct experiments, trials, and tests to validate new process change requests from both internal and external sources, ensuring their feasibility and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, engineers from customer, to investigate and resolve production issues. Monitor process performance through data analysis, statistical process control, and other tools to identify trends, deviations, or abnormalities, and take corrective actions are needed. Maintain and update technical documentation, including system configuration, software revision change, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Provide off-hour technical support for critical production issues as needed. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to production support and operations. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or a related field Proven experience in a production support or operations role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data to drive process and production improvements. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. To be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
