This hands‐on position involves designing and delivering production‐grade systems that seamlessly integrate large language models with real‐world enterprise software.You will take full ownership of services—from backend architecture and API orchestration to supporting front‐end workflows—collaborating closely with AI engineers and data scientists. This role is designed for individuals excited by complex integration challenges and applying GenAI in impactful ways.What You'll Do Develop and implement full-stack applications that incorporate Generative AI and machine learning capabilities.Design and establish backend services, APIs, and cloud-native systems ensuring secure and scalable solutions.Integrate LLMs, agentic frameworks, and retrieval‐augmented generation (RAG) pipelines into enterprise workflows.Work collaboratively with AI engineers to fully operationalize model pipelines, vector search, and inference services.Support front-end experiences that deliver AI-driven insights and dynamic results.Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, observability, security, and responsible AI practices.Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems and AI components.Contribute to the evolution of shared engineering standards, guidelines, and platform enhancements.Mentor fellow engineers and influence the team's technical trajectory.Qualifications Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience focusing on full‐stack development.Proven history of building and managing cloud‐based, distributed applications.Experience with integrating AI/ML or Generative AI systems into operational environments.Preferred Skills Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).Backend programming experience with languages like Python, Node.js, or similar.Solid understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud architecture.Hands‐on familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker; Kubernetes; and CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of LLM integration patterns, RAG workflows, and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate).Experience with ERP systems or automation platforms for enterprises.Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or agent-based AI frameworks.Experience in technical leadership or mentoring roles.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.We expect the candidate to embody Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
