React Native Developer

Overview In this role you will build and maintain consumer mobile features for iOS and Android using React Native, with a focus on health data like CGM visualization and AI-powered insights. You will own RN code from architecture to testing, ensuring performance across devices. You’ll work closely with Product and Design to deliver high-quality mobile solutions and participate in evolving the stack as the team migrates toward native platforms. This is an opportunity to shape critical health-focused mobile experiences at scale. ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end React Native codebase including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and maintenanceWrite clean, tested, high-performance RN code across iOS/Android, addressing bottlenecks and memory managementIntegrate with native modules and platform capabilities via RN bridges and CGM/Bluetooth data streamsParticipate in RN migration efforts toward native iOS/Android and provide guidance on migration scopeConduct code reviews to improve quality, readability, and testabilityCollaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into scoped, high-quality solutionsContribute to mobile testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end) Key requirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline5+ years software engineering experience, 3+ years in React Native in production consumer appStrong RN expertise: architecture, state management, navigation, performance optimization, and RN new architecture (JSI, Fabric, TurboModules)Knowledge of iOS/Android platform fundamentals and native module usageExperience with native modules and bridging to platform capabilitiesSolid understanding of mobile architecture patterns and offline-first designExperience with automated testing for RN apps (unit, integration, e2e)collaboration with cross-functional teamsconstructive code reviewsstrong problem-solving and debugging mindsetReact Native expertise (architecture, state mgmt, navigation)JSI, Fabric, TurboModules (RN new architecture)Redux or Zustand and other state management
