RN, Registered Nurse - A7 - Urology / Renal - Med/Surg

Description The medical-surgical unit is a 27-bed unit specializing in renal care and urology patients. We provide care for chronic and acute renal disease patients, many of whom have comorbid conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and infectious wounds. This unit serves a patient population ranging from young adults to the geriatric. Our goal is to provide exemplary care utilizing evidence-based practice and providing thorough discharge teaching to prevent/delay subsequent hospitalizations. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing.
