Produce Salesman

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our store. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about retail sales, enjoy interacting with customers, and are eager to grow their sales skills. Responsibilities 1.) Load up fruit & equipment 2.) Drive to stand location for the day 3.) set up signs 4.) set up tent & fruit stand 5.) sell out of all your produce 6.) take down tent & signs 7.) clean out of any trash & put leftover produce back in the cooler. - Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner. - Utilize product knowledge to offer personalized recommendations and demos to customers. - Manage cash handling, including processing transactions, counting change, and maintaining accurate records. - Utilize POS systems to process sales and manage inventory. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of retail sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling. - Achieve sales targets by creating a welcoming and engaging shopping environment. - Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services to answer customer questions. - Develop and maintain a strong rapport with customers to build loyalty and drive repeat business. - Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment. - Maintain a clean and organized stand by adhering to our standards of cleanliness and appearance. COMMISSION BASED SALARY. YOU CREATE YOUR PAY BY HOW MUCH PRODUCE YOU CAN SELL. Requirements Work on the weekends 7 AM - 8 PM or until sold out. So could go home earlier. - Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in a similar environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including phone etiquette. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets. - Strong customer service skills, with a focus on building customer loyalty. - Basic math skills, including the ability to handle cash and make change. - Knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Strong product knowledge, with a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on new products and services. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. - Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
