Assistant II Location: San Antonio SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting Credit Administration, Market President and Relationship Manager with processing and closing of loans. Assists market president and relationship managers with obtaining items such as ordering appraisals, coordinating with attorney in document preparation and reviewing the documents, setting up new loans, and administrative functions. Works closely with the client to resolve problems and respond to inquiries. Establish relevant files in accordance with necessary documentation including application, credit information, collateral information, etc. JOB FUNCTIONS: Provides administrative and processing support as needed to multiple lending functions in accordance with established systems and procedures. Responsible for loan processing, obtaining documentation and reviewing, pre-closing/closing tasks. Works with attorney's to review loan documents and make sure documents reflect what was approved. Accountable for ensuring quality client service provided to internal/external clients. Prepares correspondence, reports, etc. for market president and relationship managers. Coordination with loan operations the funding and booking of approved loans. File building and maintenance activities for originated loans in coordination with loan administration specialist. Exception monitoring and clearing of exceptions for loans generated by assigned relationship managers. Coordinating loan documentation with loan operations and loan administration specialist. Assists with internal and external loan reviews, audits, and examinations. Assist less experienced Loan Processors with the more difficult loans and provide guidance. May perform other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Computer & typing skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products. 3-7 years loan administration experience. Knowledgeable in financial institution operating policies and procedures and banking regulations state and federal. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Polite, courteous, and respectful to all clients and other associates. Use established procedures and guidelines under moderate supervision. Strong communication skills. Quick and efficient, with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent time management skills.
