The partnership between Teck and NANA ensures real benefits for the local Iñupiat community, while recognizing there is still more to do as we advance our commitment to sustainable practices and meaningful engagement.Role OverviewDemonstrate an understanding of the operations of the warehouse and related storage areas to ensure operating supplies, materials and equipment are available. May also operate heavy equipment following all safety regulations and procedures outlined by the company including light vehicles, Primemover Forklift, V50 Forklift, Delivery Truck, Loadall Forklift, V900ForkliftReporting to the Warehouse SupervisorRotation schedule will be 2 weeks on site with 2 weeks off siteResponsibilitiesBe a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresPromote mine safety so that everyone is going home safe and healthy every dayPerform inventory cycle countsReceive cycle count paperworkVerify stock inventoryPerform aisle housekeepingUpdate inventory labels and bar codesRelocate overflow inventoryAudit cycle count variances (e.g. overage, storage)Prepare variance reportsAdjust inventory variancesFile final inventory stock paperworkSupport warehouse operationsShip and Receive materialAssist with deliveries and returnsAssist with recyclable and consumable storageMaintain secondary containment areaCreate material purchase requisitionCreate maintenance work ordersPrepare storage locations for materialsRotate material inventoriesPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentThree (3) years warehouse experience which includes shippingAble to lift 50 lbs on a regular basisAble to climb ladders and work outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditionsPrevious experience in an industrial warehousing environment including the operation of common warehousing materials including computers is preferredWorking ConditionsAccess: Fly in, fly outSchedule: We offer a two-weeks on / two-weeks off rotational schedule to support a healthy work-life balance.Accommodation: Our modern facilities, including dedicated spaces for group and individual physical activities, weights, cardio equipment, movie rooms, theme nights, and modern accommodation complexes.
