This role leads the Customer Focus Team (CFT) and drives program execution across cost, schedule, scope, quality, and risk. Program Managers ensure alignment between customer objectives and organizational capabilities, leading cross-functional teams to deliver high quality products, on-time delivery, and strong financial performance. PM II role additionally supports strategic initiatives, mentoring, and continuous improvement across the business unit.Key Responsibilities-Customer Leadership & Relationship ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, representing the “voice of the customer” internally and the “voice of the company” externallyLead customer meetings, quarterly/regular business reviews, technical interchange meetings, and onsite visitsNegotiate NRE, PPV, delivery commitments, and contract modificationsEnsure clear communication of customer goals, technical requirements, and expectations to all internal stakeholdersServe as a customer advocate, escalating issues appropriately and maintaining exceptional customer satisfactionProgram Execution & Delivery ManagementLead the Customer Focus Team, ensuring alignment to customer and contract requirementsDevelop and manage detailed program schedules; adjust plans proactively to meet milestonesOversee New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including timeline development, build readiness, and cross functional coordinationManage process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) as required for aerospace & defense or regulated customersDrive issue resolution for quality, schedule, engineering, and supply chain challengesCoordinate accurate program startup including contract review, order entry, and change controlUtilize ERP/MRP tools to maintain visibility into material status, production scheduling, and delivery commitmentsFinancial & Business PerformanceOwn financial performance of assigned programs including revenue, margins, inventory levels, material excess, and cash managementConduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis; identify risks and develop mitigation plansLead program quoting and requoting activities, ensuring accuracy and profitabilityPrepare and present financial and operational performance data in internal program reviewsDrive organic growth within assigned customer seIdentify cost reduction and optimization opportunities, partnering with operations and supply chainRisk Management & Continuous ImprovementMaintain and lead program risk registers, identifying risk scenarios and implementing mitigation strategiesConduct and drive corrective action activities related to quality or delivery issues, including root cause analysis (5 Whys, 8D, etc.)Evaluate customer scorecards and feedback to implement systemic improvementsDrive reduction of excess/aging material, material discrepancies, and supply chain constraintsChampion continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean, Six Sigma, and operational targetsLeadership & Organizational ImpactFoster collaboration across engineering, supply chain, operations, production, finance, and quality teamsOther ResponsibilitiesTravel up to 10% as requiredQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)Program Manager II: 3–5+ years of relevant project/program management experience (EMS or aerospace preferred)Strong understanding of program management principles, NPI, and structured problem solvingProficient at multitasking and prioritization, with strong organizational and planning skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ERP/MRP systemsAbility to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and customer specsStrong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple prioritiesMust be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to comply with ITAR and have the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret ClearancePreferredElectronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) experienceLean / Six Sigma Green Belt certificationExperience with risk management, process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and design to manufacture transitionsPMP certification or active progress towards obtaining this certification.Compensation: Compensation is based on work experience in manufacturing, education, and prior work experience in electronics manufacturing.Our Benefits:Full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.HSA/FSA options.401(k) with Company match.Paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) promote a healthy work-life balance and improve overall well-being.Company-paid life and disability insurance.Basic Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance (company paid), with options to increase coverage amounts.Voluntary insurance plans at a group discount.Employee Assistance Program.Tuition Reimbursement Program after 1 year of employment.Opportunities to grow and excel in the Electronics Manufacturing industry at a company that values promotions and learning from within.
