This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Manufacturing function. Starting rate is commensurate with experience.Comprehensive Benefit package, Medical, Dental and Vision starting on Day 1 for you AND your family.401(k) plan with base contribution and additional company match with automatic company contribution equal to 4% of your annual pay, including overtime and additional 50/50 company match rate of up to 4% annual pay.120 hours paid vacation (15 days), 8 paid company holidays, 4 paid floating holidaysTeam recognition rewards, sponsored lunches and monetary incentives based on performanceReferral bonus plan – get a job with us and get paid to refer your friendsWork Schedule- (Monday-Friday)The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Monitor, operate and inspect the Wastewater Treatment Plant and processes both in the field and using the DCS (Honeywell) system to comply with city permit requirementsOperate and maintain sludge removal and dewatering equipmentOperate and maintain steam stripping equipmentOperate and monitor the site’s main air abatement units to maintain compliance with state permitAssist with hazardous waste management and disposal on site. This includes loading of drum trucks and bulk tankersSampling of wastewater discharges for monthly reportingMinor troubleshooting of equipment, pumps, valves. Ability to create maintenance work orders through MAXIMO systemComplete monthly air monitoring of equipment and components to comply with site's LDAR programInterface with other site departments as needed to complete day to day operationsIn order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:Massachusetts Wastewater License 3-I (Industrial) [or higher]Perform material handling operations, including being able to become certified and operate a fork truckHeavy lifting and pulling (up to 50lbs)Climbing stairs and ladders (greater than 20ft high)Mechanical and computer aptitudeAbility to flex schedule for shift coverage and be on call 24/7 for emergency responseThe following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:Experience in Municipal or Industrial Wastewater PlantExperience in a Chemical Manufacturing plant settingKnowledge of hazardous waste management and handling practices for a large quantity generatorKnowledge of air permitting and air abatement equipment
