This position will provide valuable real-world training and experience for the right candidate.What you'll do:Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semi-trailers in accordance with DOT standardsRemove and replace tires, brakes, brake drums, hubs, seals, bearings, races, and related componentsTroubleshoot and repair electrical and lighting systemsRepair or replace chassis components, including springs, spring hangers, equalizers, slider assemblies, axles, and subframesRepair mud flap brackets and dolly leg assembliesRepair or replace trailer flooring, rub rails, doors, and door trimPerform structural repairs to roofs, panels, nose panels, and upper/lower railsConduct preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration unitsSupport preventative maintenance and basic repairs on tractorsDo you have:A valid driver's license and reliable transportation?The ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, climb, or sit for extended periods?A commitment to following all safety and health regulations?A strong desire to learn?Additional Requirements:Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screeningPowered by JazzHR
