About the Firm
I come from a software engineering background and am now an Enrolled Agent, building a firm that treats accounting like a modern profession—not a legacy one. That means better tools, cleaner processes, thoughtful automation, and a strong emphasis on clear, human communication with clients. The goal is simple: do excellent tax work without the inefficiencies and burnout that plague traditional firms.
That being said, this first tax season with a growing client base looks like it’s going to be busy, and we need an experienced tax preparer who can jump in, help shoulder the workload, and keep things moving during a demanding season.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced tax preparer to join us for the upcoming tax season. This role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office and two days remote.
The position will be client-facing at times, including meetings and direct communication with clients; however, for this tax season the role will be primarily heads-down work focused on preparing and completing tax returns.
The role is expected to run through May 1st, with the possibility of being extended depending on how the tax season goes and ongoing client needs.
