We're interested in helping your career because we know that happy employees lead to happier customers!Due to extreme growth, Mullinax Montgomery Cadillac Buick GMC has one opening for a Used Car Technician to join our Award-Winning team.******************** PAYING TOP DOLLAR ****************************Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards.Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systems.Identify mechanical and electrical problems with both computerized diagnostic equipment and through visual inspection process.Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately.Participate in manufacturer training programs, keeping informed of changes in technology and processes.Maintain accurate, detailed records of repairs, parts used, and time for spent for invoicing.Communicate effectively with managers regarding necessary repairs timelines.Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.Qualifications for this job:Must be at least 18 years oldMinimum of 3+ years experience as an automotive technician preferred.Must provide own toolsBasic computer, email, and internet proficiencyStrong time management skillsAble to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as neededLifting of heavy items of up to 75 poundsAble to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dustCertificate from accredited automotive school. xevrcycHigh school diploma or equivalentValid Driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelinesMust be able to pass background screening and drug testBenefits package for full time employees includes:Medical, Dental, and Vision PlansPaid Basic Employer Life InsuranceAdditional Supplemental InsuranceWellness Program401(k) Plan with matchPaid Time OffEmployee Purchase ProgramTraining ProgramsWe are a Drug Free Work Place and an Equal Opportunity Employer.Full Time PositionNo phone calls, please email resume
