Avionics Quality InspectorResponsible for the execution and confirmation of quality inspections as part of the production process with an emphasis on Aircraft Avionics and Electrical systems.Primary responsibilities include:Executing technical inspections in the production process of the aircraft in the context of the authorization of manufacturer operationPreparing and performing visual, incoming, first article, final inspections during aircraft manufacture for compliance with design specifications, customers and certification requirements.Documenting the technical inspections performed in the multiple production orders SAP-based and the relevant SAL-based IT systems by inspection marks and completing other aircraft documents as well as preparing first article inspection reports.Supporting troubleshooting, Functional Test Procedures(FTPs) and participating in Quality Survey requests.Compiling all technical data of non-conformance in order to launch the NCMS-based quality discrepancy sheets for the professional assessment in accordance with the manufacturing engineering documentation.Documenting all the results of the technical inspector in the FLEXNET/NCMS/SAP based IT system.Attaining skills to perform audits of Non-Conformance Rework Orders as part of the Material Review Board (MRB).Performing audits/reviews of workbooks to validate PV approval and process adherence.Tracking and maintaining components during the Non Conformance process.Performing other duties as assignedEducation:High school diploma or GED.FAA Airframe & Powerplant License including inspection authorization is preferred.Experience:Three years of experience as a Quality Inspector in an aviation company with an emphasis on Avionics and Electrical systems.Previous experience in an Avionics role is highly desirable.Airline experience is desirable.Licensure/Certifications:A&P License (preferred)Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.Knowledge of drawing systems, inspection plans, and inspection coordination.Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and tools used in the production line.Handling and use of inspection tools of the length measuring techniques (mechanical, optical, electrical)Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):Effective verbal and written communication skills.
