Product Manager, Clinical
Description
Clinical Product Managers ensure products satisfy market/customer demands while aligning with corporate vision and strategy. Product Managers are ultimately responsible for their product, building products from existing ideas, and helping to develop new ideas based on industry research, experience, and formal interaction with customers and prospects. They are passionate about the intersection of technology, user experience, and MEDITECH's future growth within the general clinical sphere. An understanding of Laboratory and Imaging workflows is preferred. As a member of our Sales & Marketing team, your job would involve:
Identifying areas of improvement for our current clinical applications by developing a strategy to enhance MEDITECH's solution as we move core clinical workflows into the Web environment leveraging industry and competitor analysis
Leading Product Stream Meetings
Attending general clinical and end-user stakeholder meetings (e.g., patient safety, core measures, usability)
Collaborating with Oncology, Nursing/Surgery, Physician, Genomics, Lab, Imaging, and Outpatient EHR, Care Compass, Ambulatory product managers
Serving as a liaison between Physician, Nursing, and Ambulatory to help improve areas of integration, workflow efficiency, and patient safety across the continuum of care
Serving as liaison to Population Health, Patient Engagement, and BCA groups as needed, especially regarding clinical data capture and utilization
Creating a strategy that would include all clinical roles and workflows into a cohesive solution and as an integral member of the care team
Acting as industry expert for organization in key areas to help lead strategic direction by understanding new technologies coming down the line as well as competitive differentiators and infusing them into future solution direction
Developing new strategies for core clinical informatics and documentation
Participating and consulting on creating marketing materials to promote new solutions
Collaborating with Clinical Implementation and Client Service staff across EHR platforms to identify areas for product improvements, innovation, and quantify severity of gaps identified
Participating in strategic clinical advisory meetings with our customers
Participating in Nursing Forum, Nursing Advisory Committee meetings, Physician meetings, and other key clinical groups
Collaborating with development teams to create detailed product designs and product roadmaps
Participating in Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Backlog Grooming meetings
Identifying and mitigating risks related to user acceptance
Effectively managing projects that may vary in nature and scope
Ability to provide input into Standard Content creation (e.g., templates, assessments, order sets)
Requirements
Bachelor's or associate degree preferred and/or applicable training, education, or customer service experience, and/or related military experience. Advanced degrees a plus
High level of initiative and the ability to work independently
Comfortable working with external and internal C-level executives
Passion for product optimization
Clinical background preferred, such as a Medical Technologist (MT/CLS), Radiologic Technologist, or relevant clinical certification
Minimum 5 years experience in a hands-on clinical setting or in product management/implementation of clinical EHR systems
EHR Software experience in a clinical setting preferred. Does not need to be MEDITECH experience
Strong presentation skills (Demonstration required for interview)

Hiring salary range: $72,000- $95,000 per year.

This is a hybrid role which includes a blend of in-office and remote work as designated by the management team.
