Contract - REMOTE - Data Engineer/Modeler- $60-$65hr

Contract 10 months REMOTE - Anywhere in United States40 hours per week M-F Pay $60-65hr The successful candidate will work with key executive stakeholders to collect requirements, thenarchitect the data path from ingestion to visualization. The candidate should evangelize bestpractices for data engineering and analytics. This position will report to the Sr. Director of BusinessResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain data models and data processes using DBT, Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, and AWS technologiesApply best practices to DBT models as an interface to the BI toolMaintain and expand CI/CD tools for the stackBuild data expertise and own data quality and performance for allocated areas of ownershipApply best practices for source code control with GithubDesign and Maintain data security access controlsWork with cross-functional teams to gather requirementsDesign models that are performant and support analysis that leads to business insightsQualifications:BS in Computer Science. The emphasis in Data Engineering is a plus6-8 years Data Engineering Development and Visualization experience3-5 years of Data Warehouse experience is required. Snowflake DWH is preferred2-3 years Oracle HRIS experience 3-5 years of SQL experience, Snowflake SQL is preferred2-4 years of DBT experiences, semantic layer experience is a must2-4 years of experience with source code version systems, GitHub is preferred2-3 years of experience with Ci/CD tools for the modern data stack2+ years working with Workday and Oracle Business Suite (OBI, HRIS)2-4 years of Looker/LookML, Tableau or modern BI tool experiencesExperience with the following Enterprise systems: Salesforce, Jira, Adaptive, Anaplan2+ years of Python development preferredComfortable coding using SQLBenefits offered for this position
