Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a Direct hire DC Electrical Power Tech. If you are interested in an opportunity to get your foot in the door with leading company, we want to talk with you!Hourly pay range $ 24-26Job Responsibilities Install batteries and rectifier battery plants (all voltages)Perform ironwork and mount cable racks with awareness of Zone 4 seismic requirementsUpgrade and replace DC power plants and associated distribution equipment (PBDs, BDFBs, BCDBBs, inverters, converters)Run, lace, and terminate DC power cabling (lug crimping, taping, etc.)Take voltage and gravity readings from battery stringsRead and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematicsAssist with AC power work (ranging from 120V single-phase to 480V three-phase systems) Job Requirements Entry-level to 1 year of experience working in DC power or related mechanical/electrical tradesWillingness to travel to customer sites away from home 50% of the time. (all travel costs will be covered by the company). Able to work in various weather and job site conditionsReliable transportation and active driver's license.
