Material Handler/Forklift Operator

*Position Overview:*
As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in our logistics chain by precisely pulling, weighing, and recording materials for our recycling program. You will be tasked with maintaining accurate records and proactively resolving shipment issues to support the overall productivity of our growing team.
*Job Responsibilities:*
* Accurately pull material for processing and move to a designated area;
* Accurately handle processed material: weighing, data entry, labelling and moving to a designated location;
* Maintain accurate records of items moved to and from processing areas;
* Communicate incoming and outgoing status to appropriate internal and external customers;
* Resolves and / or escalates issues with shipments and receipts;
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
* Highschool diploma, associate degree in relevant field preferred;
* Experience with Shipping and Receiving using MRP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP or similar;
* 5+ years of warehouse / shipping / receiving experience;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
* Good communication, interpersonal skills, organizational skills;
* Must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally lift to 75 lbs as a team;
* Reliable work ethic;
* Licensed forklift operator.
