Telepsychiatry Medical Director in Eastern North Carolina A major state university located in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BC Adult Psychiatrist for the position of medical director of telepsychiatry and e-Behavioral Health. The physician will provide services at an outpatient clinic. The current network includes 71 hospitals and the growth has created the need for a medical director. The new director will be responsible for expanding the program, improving outcomes, integrating with community-based providers, and more. Approximately 60% of time will be spent providing clinical service, but will require an active engagement in clinical, educational, and scholarly activities. Candidates who wish to apply should have experience and a demonstrated track record in psychiatric administration and providing telepsychiatry services.
