Schedule Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Neuro Stepdown RN to provide high-quality care for patients in a progressive care unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, strong assessment skills, and the ability to respond to complex patient needs. Responsibilities Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neuro Stepdown unit. Monitor patient conditions and make critical decisions based on assessments. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create effective care plans. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management. Document patient care and maintain accurate records. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Neuro Stepdown nursing prior to travel assignments. Current Ohio RN license or compact state license. Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Preferred experience in PCU/Progressive care.
