Venue Operations Manager The Grant Collection Position Overview The Grant Collection is seeking a highly organized and driven Venue Operations Manager to lead the daily operations, care, and presentation of our venues. This leadership role is responsible for managing a key department, ensuring operational excellence, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and policy. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of venue operations, ensuring spaces are organized, fully functional, and consistently guest-ready. Champion venue cleanliness and maintenance standards, proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement. Manage department workflows, timelines, and operational processes to maximize efficiency. Develop, implement, and enforce venue policies and standard operating procedures. Monitor inventory and order supplies including cleaning products, operational tools, and event essentials. Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for events and operational needs. Lead, train, and coach Venue Assistants, setting clear expectations and maintaining accountability. Conduct routine venue walkthroughs to ensure quality standards are upheld. Prepare operational reports and provide leadership with insights and recommendations. Collaborate with event teams to support seamless event execution. Address challenges quickly and professionally, using strong problem-solving skills. Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and pride in the workplace. Work Schedule This position primarily follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, supporting the operational needs of our venues during standard business hours. Occasional evening or weekend availability is required to assist with event coverage, team training, or operational support. These instances are planned in advance whenever possible to promote work-life balance while ensuring the continued success of our events and venues. Qualifications Proven experience in business, hospitality, restaurant, or venue management. Demonstrated ability to manage a department, prioritize competing demands, and execute with precision. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Systems-oriented mindset with a passion for creating structure and improving processes. Financial and operational awareness with sound decision-making abilities. Commitment to upholding policies, standards, and accountability. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules (approximately 1–2 weekend events per month).
