Assembly Technician

Pay Rate Low: 22 | Pay Rate High: 24 The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices in accordance with approved work instructions, SOPs, and quality requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role supports production activities, identifies line issues, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.Contract (6 Months)Sonoma County, California Monday-Thursday: 5am-3:30pm. (4 x10 hour shifts) Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble medical device products using small hand tools, microscopes, test fixtures, and measurement equipment.Follow safety rules, GMP/GDP requirements, and company policies at all times.Maintain clean room and controlled environment practices, including proper gowning and contamination control.Perform in-process quality checks and promptly report quality or process issues.Identify and report nonconforming materials or sub-assemblies to supervisors or engineering.Accurately complete production documentation and electronic system entries.Work with supervisors, engineers, and technicians to resolve line issues and support process improvements.Participate in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.Rotate between workstations while maintaining consistent quality.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of manufacturing experience (medical device preferred)Experience working with small components, adhesives, and microscopesClean room experience preferredBasic math and English communication skillsAbility to read and follow work instructions and drawingsThis job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
