Summary:Bay Area News Group is looking for a part-time warehouse worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the inserting process for our publications is completed on a daily basis.What you will do:Hand-insert free-standing inserts into the inserting machineUse the shrink-wrap machine to wrap palletsOperate pallet jacks or forklifts to move materials between the mailroom and the warehouseHandle a "jogging" table to align all inserts perfectly prior to loading an inserting pocketWork on the binder machine to load signaturesLoad mail pieces into the mail machine and gather addressed pieces off the conveyorResponsible for the daily cleanup of the mailroomCertain positions are responsible for shipping/receiving materialsSome positions use computer software to manage shipping materials What you will bring:Must be a team player with the ability to follow supervisor directionsGood communication skillsA positive, energetic personalityHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious warehouse, material handling, or forklift experience preferred; computer proficiency is a plus but not necessary Benefits and Compensation:The hourly wage is $16.90.
