Manufacturing Engineering Intern

AMETEK Process Instruments is looking for a manufacturing intern to join our team for the Summer of 2026.AMETEK Process Instruments sells analytical products into the process control and automation market.We are looking for:No prior experience is required, but the candidate should be high energy and have a self-starting work ethic to drive individual and group project work.Your responsibilities may include design maintenance, fixture design, or performance validation of electro-mechanical measurement devices, components, and capital equipment.You should have a strong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles, be proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, and have excellent problem-solving skills.If you are looking for a place to apply your education and gain real world work experience at a this is the place to be.Guidance from the technical and management team will be given on projects, and you will be expected to utilize your drive and educational experience to make a positive impact on the organization.Job Requirements:Currently attending an accredited 4-year college or university, pursuing a major in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Engineering Technology, or related fieldStrong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles, particularly operational efficiency, mechanical/electrical design, and design for manufacturing.Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels.Can effectively function in a team environment.Knowledge of industry standards and regulations a plus.Strong skills in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and related softwareExperience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, or similar 2D and 3D CAD software.CompensationEmployee Type: HourlySalary Minimum: $45,000Salary Maximum: $55,000Incentive: NoDisclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
