The Transfer Driver's responsibilities include driving a company delivery vehicle to transport merchandise between the warehouse and the company stores as well as loading and unloading merchandise.A CDL is NOT required for this position. License MUST be approved by insurance. Come be part of the growing team!To be considered, MUST have previous delivery driving experience , a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD , and a BACKGROUND clear of ALL CRIMINAL ACTIVITY .What You'll Do:Load, secure, and protect the merchandise in the delivery vehicle and safely transport to showroomsUnload merchandise at showrooms and perform basic assemblyAssist with room set ups on showroom floorAssist Floor Coordinator decorate showrooms (hang art, hang rugs, adjust track lights)Maintain compliance with the company's driver qualification policyAbide by all transportation lawsComply with all company delivery vehicle safety standards and documentationServe as a backup for the Furniture Delivery DriverWhat You'll Bring:Must be punctual and reliableMust have a positive attitudeAbility to move and lift heavy objectsMust have previous delivery driving experienceExperience with assembling furniture is a plusKnowledge of hand toolsBackground check free of criminal activityWhy Join Us?Competitive pay: $18.00/hourHealth, dental, vision, life insurancePaid vacationsProfit sharingDeep furniture discounts*WE DO RUN BACKGROUND CHECKS .
