Excavation Laborer – Construction & Site Support

About the Role The Excavation Laborer supports excavation and construction crews by performing hands‑on work that keeps projects moving safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in construction and skilled trades. You’ll work alongside experienced operators, pipe layers, and supervisors while gaining valuable on‑the‑job experience. What You’ll Be Doing Clean and prepare construction sites daily Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment Dig trenches, compact soil, and backfill excavations Set up and remove scaffolding, shoring, and temporary structures Operate hand tools and small equipment Assist operators and skilled tradespeople Direct traffic or act as a spotter when needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite Experience & Background Construction or labor experience preferred Entry‑level candidates welcome - we’ll train the right person Skills & Traits Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills and take direction Safety‑focused mindset Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Perform physical labor for extended periods Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Navigate uneven terrain and active jobsites safely Reasonable accommodations may be provided in accordance with WA & OR law.
