RATE WILL BE ADJUSTED FOR "LOCAL" TRAVELERS (10% reduction of posted rate). PERM ADDRESS MUST BE UPLOADED WITH PROFILE.Performs a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by Department Director, or Operations Manager. Proper care of the clients in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required. May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Department Director. Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems. Demonstrates ability to operate and troubleshoot PACs applications. Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation. "ANYTIME" WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.Must be proficient in Abdominal, Pelvic, and Obstetrical , dvt studies of arms and legs and obtaining images using portable equipment.Must be familiar with sterile technique and set up of sterile trays.Ability to function independently and proficiently.Must be able to move and lift patients, equipment, and supplies on a regular basis.Ability to function in a high stress, work intensive environment.Ability to stand/walk up to 6 hours per 8-hour shift.Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. intermittently throughout shift.Ability to lift over 100 lbs. without assistance and/or mechanical aid.Must possess sight/hearing senses or use of prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of the position can be fully met.Ability to speak, read and understand the English language in an understandable manner.Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
