Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday from 8:00am - 4:30pm
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Compensation Package:
Competitive pay range of $19.00-20.00 DOE

Administrative:
Comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements

Attend training and development seminars
Communicate daily with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager, and perform tasks as requested
Asset Preservation:
Ensure the building is in accordance with all applicable building codes, ordinances, pool safety, fire codes, and emergency evacuation regulations
Perform regularly scheduled inspections of all common areas
Ensure preventative repairs are done on a regular basis
General Maintenance:
Perform janitorial services for the interior and exterior of the building, including and not limited to sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, pet waste removal, vacuuming, and dusting
Operate a leaf blower and pressure washer
Resident Experience:
Promote community member satisfaction by maintaining a high standard of community cleanliness and curb appeal
Paint interior and exterior surfaces as necessary
Interact with current and future community members in a professional, courteous, and non-discriminatory manner
What You’ll Need:
Authorization to work in the United States
High School Diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation
1+ years of relevant porter and groundskeeping experience
General knowledge of various janitorial services including sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, vacuuming, and dusting
Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts, engage in cost/benefit analytical decision-making, and ambition for continuous professional development
Your Work Environment:
Approximately 90% inspecting property grounds, including apartments, building structure, landscaping, and signage which may require the ability to climb stairs, scaffolds, ladders and maneuver walkways
Approximately 10% in office environment using computer or tablet and phone
Frequent lifting, pushing, carrying or pulling of 20-50 pounds
Frequent kneeling, crouching, bending, and reaching to inspect appliances and fixtures
May be required to work weekends
