About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail oriented, customer focused professional to support our Lock Deck laminated roof decking product line. In this role, you’ll blend sales support, customer service, marketing coordination, and administrative responsibilities to help ensure smooth operations and an excellent customer experience.

What You’ll Do:
Sales & Customer Support
Be the first point of contact for customer calls and email inquiries
Prepare quotes, calculate product quantities, and estimate freight costs
Support distributors and customers with product information and recommendations
Process orders from start to finish: entry, follow up, release, and invoicing
Build strong relationships with customers through friendly, proactive service
Marketing & Communication
Support marketing updates across website, brochures, trade shows, and social media
Help identify new sales opportunities and assist with expanding market reach
Provide product samples, stain kits, and help maintain sample inventory
Administrative & Internal Support
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for quotes, orders, and product literature
Assist with freight quotes and purchase order entry
Keep distributor contact lists and internal resources updated
Support invoicing and payables during busy periods
Order Coordination & Logistics
Enter and update orders in the system and send acknowledgements
Coordinate shipments by working closely with mills, customers, and freight partners
Track order progress and delivery timelines
Help ensure all outbound orders have correct documentation
Purchasing & Inventory Support
Work with the Sales Manager to track offsite inventory and minimize slow moving stock
Partner with manufacturing teams to rotate inventory and maintain product quality
Production & Project Coordination
Prepare detailed purchase and work orders to prevent errors
Communicate lead times and manufacturing priorities
Monitor projects from quote through delivery
Team Collaboration
Partner closely with management, credit, distribution, and manufacturing teams
Contribute to a positive, solution oriented team environment
What You Bring:
Experience in sales support, marketing, or customer service (lumber/construction experience is a plus)
Strong technical and computer skills (Excel required; CAD/plan reading a bonus)
Confidence with numbers, pricing, and basic math
Excellent communication, organization, and follow through
Ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing attention to detail
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
