Loss Prevention Detective

Job Description We are seeking a Retail Loss Prevention Detective to join our team. You will be responsible for external and internal theft investigations as well as assisting the Loss Prevention Manager in workers comp and general liability investigations.Responsibilities:Monitor and patrol premises to detect and locate suspected shopliftersSafely recover assets and make apprehensionsIdentify issues of operational errors and policy violationsConduct various routine audits and inspectionsInvestigate and resolve various fraud and theft casesAssist the Loss Prevention Manager in worker compensation and general liability investigationsQualifications:Previous experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or other related fields is a plus but not necessaryFamiliarity with retail security equipment is a plusStrong attention to detailStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompany DescriptionBrown's Super Stores owned and operated by the Brown's family bring Joy to the People We Serve at our ShopRite and Fresh Grocers location.
