Lead Security Technician

*Job Title: Lead Technician* *Company: Security 101* *Location: Raleigh, NC* *Job Summary:* Security 101 – Raleigh is now recruiting a Lead Commercial Security Technician (minimum 5 years-experience) that has experience installing programming and servicing commercial electronic security devices primarily CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems and overall commercial security systems. *Salary and Benefits: * Hourly wage varies from $27.00 to $32.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience. We will also provide you with a cell phone, laptop, and work vehicle. *Skills & Abilities: * * Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems. * Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a project lead responsible for complete project supervision. * Must be process oriented, with good communication and organizational skills. * Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism. * Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential. * Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction. _*Current certification or prophecies in one of the following*_ *is a plus:* Avigilon, Hanwha, Honeywell Pro-Watch, Exacq, or Brivo. *Responsibilities: * Must be able to lead a crew Installing, terminating, configuring, testing, and training a client in an enterprise-based security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems, and visitor management, preferred. * Leading a team on project installations. * Managing quality control and providing _fanatical customer service_ * Taking responsibility for and tracking project progress. *Education:* * High School (or GED) minimum requirement * Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred) *Security 101* is a DFWP and EOE organization with a team-oriented work environment. Must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation and a drug-test screening. Must also be able to work in both office and outside environments, climb a ladder, use a forklift, and carry boxes weighing 50lbs.
