CNC Machine Operator

Must wear PPE and follow all safety rulesSets up and operates various woodworking machines to produce parts for cabinetsSet up and operate CNC lathes and millsAccurately manufacture parts to specifications, including deburring completelyComplete first piece inspectionsResponsible for daily maintenance and clean-up of machines and work areasAbility to use a variety of hand tools such as: hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, banding machineAbility to use measuring tools such as: tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and micrometer, height gauges, radius gauges or any other measuring equipmentResponsible for providing error-free work to all customersAbility to operate forkliftQualifications, Trainings, & Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; must be familiar with G code programmingMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar roleKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Reasoning: ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form; deal with problems involving several known variables in standardized situationsMathematical: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute ratio, rate, and percent; ability to read and interpret metal ruleLanguage: good command of the English language, both written and verbalPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing and walkingMust be able to lift to 30 -60 pounds at times, team lift when necessaryMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with a manufacturing environmentPowered by JazzHR0BilAPCSv7
