Job DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Cardiac Cath LabDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Days, 4x10hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: May 4, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma hospital in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license and on-call availability.DetailsAcute care hospital setting within a Cath Lab unit407-bed Magnet-designated facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in AlaskaDay shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)On-call required: 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 7:30 AM)Approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the regular 4-shift weekly scheduleFloating may be required to EP or IR within scopeEpic EMR; experience requiredScrubs are provided by the facilityFree parking availableRequirementsActive Alaska (AK) RN license requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience requiredEpic EMR proficiency requiredMinimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for considerationSSN and DOB required for considerationAdditional InformationFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyCandidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligibleFormer permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travelerAll travelers may be expected to float between facilities within Alaska; refusal to float may result in assignment terminationOnly 1 RTO request will be considered per 13-week assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of offerScrub color is provided by the facilityAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-693084.
