This role is designed for a hands-on Creative Director who can think strategically, execute ideas effectively, and drive meaningful growth in attendance, revenue, and cultural relevance. It is not a traditional director position; you will own the work from concept through execution, hold teams accountable, and set strategy that leads to measurable results. Someone who shows up, does the work, drives progress and follows through.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Tools & Experience:This role is for someone who can think, create, and execute, bringing the legacy of Muhammad Ali to life through modern storytelling.What You Know How to Do:Create: Strong in Adobe Creative SuiteMove in digital: Fluent across Instagram, YouTube, IG, LinkedIn, and emerging platformsUse modern tools: Comfortable with AI tools like ChatGPT, Firefly, MidJourney to accelerate ideasRead culture: Understand where culture is going, and how to show up authentically through the tone of The Muhammad Ali Center (don’t worry, we will work as a team to help you understand this tone)EXPERIENCE:***Please be sure portfolio is linked in your resume***8+ years of in-house or agency experience working on integrated, cross-channel campaigns, with a compelling portfolio of distinctive work.Proven experience driving measurable revenue growth.Experience working with collaborative teams, with a proven ability to provide effective, actionable creative and feedback to inspire teams and help junior talent grow and improveClear, concise writing, with the ability to distill complex, emerging ideas into easily understood languageFluency in both digital and traditional channels, including all social media platforms, content creation, and videoExperience with AI writing and concept development tools.Exceptional copy editing and proofreading skillsProven experience driving measurable commercial outcomes e.g.: attendance growth, retail performance or audience monetization, in a cultural, hospitality, and/or experience-led environmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This role operates within a multi-level facility and requires the ability to navigate the space and assist with exhibit and display setup as needed.
